New Play Equipment Set To Be Unveiled This Saturday
DANNEEL PARK UPDATE
The installation of the rubber safety tiles at Danneel Park is expected to be completed this Friday, the 18th, weather permitting. The tiles are scheduled to be glued on Friday and the glue will still be wet on Friday; thus, while the new play equipment will look ready for play on Friday, the play set will not be open until Saturday morning. (The glue is heavy industrial glue that [although not toxic/hazardous] we don't want to get on any of the children, plus weight upon the oozing glue will cause unsightly smearing). To accommodate schedules and to facilitate the final touches on the tile installation, the chain link fence is scheduled to be replaced tomorrow with orange flexible fencing. Please don't cross the orange fence on Thursday evening or Friday. The orange fence will be removed on Saturday morning when the play equipment is ready (assuming cooperation from the weather!).
